Located in Spain’s most emblematic region - Galicia- from which is said that it shares its roots with other ancient Celtic origins in Europe..
This very authentic Rural Complex contains 3 different lodges, with a total of 15 double rooms. Each with private bathroom, heating and hot water.
Its very extensive grounds and gardens are bordered by the “ Canyon of the Sil River”, right in the heart of the “Ribeira Sacra” wine fields.
Visiting this exuberant region converts a holiday or short-brake into a breathtaking experience either for national as international tourists.
Plenty of activities are at the visitor’s disposal such as, various water sports, trekking, discovering the historic “Route of Monasteries” or even joining a very adventurous Catamaran-sailing-trip trough the “Canyon of the Sil River”.
Visitors of the lodges are offered many hotel services and the restaurant is open for both hotel -guests and other clients.
During the last years this Rural Tourism Complex has been rented out to a company that organizes “Trekking and Adventure- Tourism”. The rental contract contains a clause stipulating that cancellation is possible once the freehold is sold.
This Rural Tourism Complex is located in a typical Galician village, which is almost uninhabited, nevertheless we find many other villages in the neighbourhood where hotel- guests can shop in local supermarkets or pay a visit to the bars or exclusive “Wine Bodegas” where the local wine label “Ribeira Sacra” can be degustated.
The village of “Rabacallos” belongs to the parish of “Chandrexa de Parada” with its own church and social meeting centre.
At a short trip of only 8 km, we arrive in the county-capital; the town of “Parada de Sil”, where all the medical services are installed. There we will also find a pharmacy, important supermarkets, fine restaurants etc . And at 15 km from the Complex we’ll arrive in the town of “Castro Caldelas” with many shops, a petrol station and an interesting medieval castle that can be visited.
As the Rural Complex has been rented out for the last years, we don’t know the number of employees. But from our former experience we can tell that one employee can maintain all the lodges, as for the restaurant and kitchen, everything will depend of the style and service the new owner wants to offer its guests.
Neither do we know the actual occupation rates, but as from our own experience we can state that an average of 100 days per room and per annum were easily reached in the past.
Due to its excellent reputation and extensive publication in local press and nationwide appearances on specialised “Rural Tourism” internet portals, this very Rural Complex enjoys a steady occupation.
As for the turn over of the restaurant- it is actually managed by the tenants of the lodge- but again, all depends on the style and quality of the new owner to define the income and profits of this establishment.
The pricing of the rooms are published in “Turgalicia” internet-portal, but we can state that a double room costs between 53 € and 55 € in high season.
